hahahaha, well you'd be one of the first from TegakiE to say "cool hockey portraits" - pretty honoured to hear that. And no, there's no spraypaint option or anything like that...still the same tools it's been for the past year. Oh yea, there's some dithering in there considering I use the smallest brush TE has to offer with the lowest opacity as well.

Yep, a lot of brushstrokes which is a lot of time. Lately my last five portraits have taken over 80+ hours of work (I think). Some of them 90+. Oh well, the NHL reporters like them so it's all good. I'm hoping this year I can draw faster and get more out because I've had an increase of orders and I don't want to let the NHL down.
